Traffic Enginering
Traffic Impact Assessments
We can assist in supporting your resource consent application through the preparation of robust traffic impact assessments. Working with you and the consent authorities to achieve the best outcomes for all.
We utilise industry recognised software to assist with the assessments including SIDRA to determine delays at intersections.
Reviewing Consent Applications
We have the ability to assist consent authorities to review applications and to work with all parties to achieve the best outcomes for all parties.
Traffic Surveys
Traffic Counts
We can design and implement traffic surveys to assist with the preparation of traffic studies.
We own a number of Metro Count tube counters and with experienced operators we can install these with the road controlling authorities approval.
These counters can record a number of metrics including traffic volume, type, speed and direction.
Manual Traffic Counts
For smaller projects it is sometimes more cost effective to undertake manual peak hour counts.
When assessing intersections it necessary to survey the turning movements so that the intersection delays can be modelled.
We will determine the appropriate time and location for a count to be undertaken safely and get the most appropriate data.
Road Safety
Roads Safety Audits
